Terms
Last updated: 14 October 2026. These are the terms of the hosted service at notefeed.me, run by Marcel Bruckner, Germany (legal notice). The software itself is open source and free to run yourself; these terms are about the hosted service only.
The service
notefeed.me lets anyone post short notes and pictures to a named feed, by script, API or web page, and read them back as RSS. Using it for free needs no account: whoever knows a feed's name can read and post to it, so choose a name nobody can guess.
Free: each feed keeps its newest 1000 notes (the oldest is removed when a new one is posted), with no pictures and no feed password.
With a license (per feed): no limit on stored notes, pictures, and a feed password for that feed. Readers never pay.
Paying for a license
- Price: EUR 1.99 per month or EUR 19.90 per year per feed, VAT included, a subscription that renews every month or every year until cancelled. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
- Seller: payment, invoicing, VAT and the customer portal are handled by Creem (creem.io), which is the seller of record. Your payment data is given to Creem, not to notefeed.
- Delivery: after payment a license key is shown on the page you are sent back to. Enter it in the feed's settings. The key belongs to one feed at a time and can be moved to another feed. notefeed stores no information about you, only a one-way fingerprint of the key, so a lost key cannot be recovered: keep it, and keep Creem's receipt.
- Cancelling: at any time, in Creem's customer portal: open it from notefeed.me/license with your license key, or through the link in Creem's receipt. The license stays until the end of the period you paid for. Then the feed goes back to the free tier. Nothing is deleted: pictures already stored are still shown, and a feed password stays in force, but you cannot add pictures or change the password until the feed has a license again.
Refunds
Within 14 days of your first payment you can ask for your money back without giving a reason, by writing to support@notefeed.me or through Creem. A refunded license ends at once.
Consumer dispute resolution (Verbraucherstreitbeilegung, § 36 VSBG)
Ich bin nicht bereit und nicht verpflichtet, an Streitbeilegungsverfahren vor einer Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle teilzunehmen.
(I am neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.)
What you may not post
Anything illegal. Every note has a Report link. A feed that is reported for illegal content may be removed at once, with its pictures, and its pictures may be blocked from being posted again; a license on a removed feed stays with its owner and can be used on another feed. We may do this without asking you first.
No promise of availability
The service is run with care, by one person, and may be unavailable or lose data. Do not rely on it for anything you cannot afford to lose; keep your own copy.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version is on this page, with its date.
